Overview:
At the heart of Alterra Mountain Company’s Mammoth Resort lies an exciting outdoor adventure park, offering activities like tubing hills, ropes courses, and a mountain roller coaster. To enhance the guest experience, Alterra envisioned a vibrant visitor center where guests could purchase tickets, enjoy snacks and beverages—including adult refreshments—and relax in a welcoming environment. Marke, an Elements studio, collaborated closely with Alterra’s design and construction teams to bring this vision to life.

Scope of Work:
Spanning over 3,000 square feet, Woolly’s Adventure Summit showcases Marke’s comprehensive interior design expertise, including:

• Product Customization: Specification of interior paint, tile, acoustic panels, lighting, and custom bar millwork.
• Curated Design: Hand-selected artwork, vintage display pieces, rugs, furniture, and accessories.
• Onsite Styling: Final touches applied onsite to ensure every detail contributes to a cohesive, inviting atmosphere.

Challenges & Solutions:
Navigating the logistical challenges of a mountaintop location, Marke’s install team delivered all furnishings and materials without damage. Close coordination with the resort’s construction team ensured seamless receipt and installation, adhering precisely to design plans.

Results:
Woolly’s Adventure Summit has exceeded expectations, both aesthetically and operationally. According to Alterra’s VP of Design Strategy, “We are so happy with the results at Woolly’s… Our CEO got a personal tour and absolutely loved it. It is achieving higher revenues than anticipated, and they are having to figure out how to manage the lines. A success!”
