SCL Health Lutheran Medical Center

SCL Health broke ground on a replacement hospital for Lutheran Medical Center in 2021 to address the growing need for high-quality health care in the western metro areas of Golden, Wheat Ridge, and Arvada. The new innovative and state-of-the-art hospital aims to provide top-tier healthcare services to the community, incorporating advanced medical technology and design features to enhance patient care and comfort.

Floorz joined a dedicated project team to construct this cutting-edge facility and laid 300,000 square feet of sheet vinyl in addition to tile work and carpeted areas.

A standout feature of the hospital is the extensive use of sheet vinyl material in all patient-facing areas. To ensure a seamless and hygienic aesthetic, Floorz meticulously self-leveled the fiber-reinforced concrete floors. This process achieved a remarkably flat surface with a tolerance within 1/8″, ensuring both the aesthetic appeal and ease of maintenance of the flooring.
